I have always been attracted to the Scandinavian design aesthetic – from the reflection of nature and landscape in the style of fabrics and furnishings to the clean simplicity of form in the design of everyday objects. I have been fortunate enough to visit some of these countries, to experience the forests and lakes and to see something of the arts and craft heritage, and its modern translation today.
In my own work and home, I have often drawn on such inspiration for my interiors work – and so it is with ASPA, with its nature-inspired wallpapers, natural fabrics and unusual accessories sourced from the Nordic countries.
